This policy explains how the Glucias Eatery iOS app handles information. It covers the app only. If you visit our website or eat with us in person, the same commitment applies: we ask for as little as possible and we do not sell anything about you.
The short version
The Glucias Eatery app does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. There is no account to create, no sign in, and no analytics or advertising software inside the app.
Information we do not collect
- No name, email address, phone number, or mailing address
- No payment or financial information
- No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access
- No advertising identifiers and no third-party tracking
- No usage analytics tied to you
Notifications
The app can send you a local notification when we open or when something new lands on the menu. If you tap to turn notifications on, iOS asks for your permission and the reminder is scheduled on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server and we never see that you enabled it. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings on your iPhone.
Maps and directions
The app shows our address on a map using Apple Maps. If you tap for directions, iOS hands you off to the Maps app, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. The Glucias Eatery app does not request or store your location.
Links out of the app
Tapping our phone number, email address, or a social media link opens the matching app on your device. Once you leave, the privacy policy of that service applies.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children in a way that collects information, because it collects no information from anyone.
Data retention and your rights
Because we hold no personal information from the app, there is nothing for us to retain, correct, export, or delete. If you would like to confirm this or ask a question, write to us using the contact details below.
Changes to this policy
If the app ever adds a feature that handles personal information, we will update this page and note the new date at the top before that feature ships.
